This organization is seeking a senior, results-driven Director of Detailing & Technical Delivery to lead and scale its detailing function during continued growth. This role owns the speed, accuracy, and scalability of all detailing and technical deliverables. You will lead the systems, people, and priorities that ensure detailing never becomes a bottleneck to production, margin, or delivery.

This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in high-volume environments, values standardization and reuse, and knows how to turn complexity into repeatable systems.

What Youll Do

Lead and scale the Detailing and Technical Delivery team, ensuring accountability, quality, and predictable throughput

Own detailing intake, prioritization, and release discipline aligned with project schedules and production needs

Build and enforce standardized detailing systems, assemblies, and methods to maximize reuse and efficiency

Define and uphold fabrication-ready release standards to reduce rework and downstream disruption

Forecast demand and manage capacity to maintain delivery speed without linear headcount growth

Partner cross-functionally with project management, production, creative, graphics, and warehouse teams to align execution

Develop and coach detailing leaders and team members, reducing reliance on individual hero performers

Drive continuous improvement through process refinement, tooling enhancements, and automation

Serve as a senior leader within Operations, with authority to prioritize, simplify, and remove friction

What Were Looking For

Proven leadership experience in detailing, technical delivery, production, or fabrication-driven environments

Strong background in CAD-based detailing workflows within exhibits, events, fabrication, or manufacturing

A systems thinker who values speed, reuse, and predictability over bespoke solutions

Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced, deadline-driven operations

Experience scaling teams and output through process, standards, and tooling rather than headcount alone

Strong communicator with the confidence to say no, simplify scope, and enforce priorities

Proficiency with Autodesk tools, Adobe, and Office 365; ERP or production system experience is a plus

Flexible schedule as needed to support production and delivery timelines

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Combination of office and production shop environment

Extended periods of computer-based work

Occasional time spent in shop, warehouse, or production settings

Ability to move through active workspaces and engage with fabrication teams

Exposure to noise, dust, heat, and moving equipment in production areas

What Sets This Team Apart

Recognized workplace culture with a strong focus on people and performance

Rental-based production model that prioritizes creativity, iteration, and innovation

Design-driven environment with close collaboration across disciplines

High visibility role with real influence and executive-level support

Creative variety across multiple industries, brands, and live experiences

How Youre Supported

Comprehensive healthcare coverage including medical, dental, vision, and wellness support

Retirement plan with company matching

Flexible time off, paid sick leave, and company holidays

Professional development budget for training and continued education
